Black Friday 3D Printing Accessory Deals 2021
A couple of days ago we looked at some of the 3D printer bargains on offer this Black Friday. If you’re looking for a new printer there are some great deals out there – but even if you’re not, it’s worth having a look anyway. Black Friday is also a chance to pick up accessories and 3D printing supplies at a tempting price. Here are a few Black Friday 3D printing accessory deals that we’ve found.
Revopoint POP 3D Scanner
A 3D scanner is a great accessory to have – I’m still planning on building one when I figure out how to do all the Arduino-related stuff – but they’re expensive. Black Friday could be your chance to get one at a slightly less eye-watering price.
The Revopoint POP is a compact, lightweight 3D scanner that comes with a separate turntable. For scanning small objects just set up the scanner on its mini tripod, place your object on the turntable and let it automatically scan for you. For larger objects there’s a handheld mode. It works with an eye-safe laser, so you can use it to scan people too.
This scanner is the size of a phone and weighs 200g. It can scan down to a resolution or 0.3mm. It usually costs £579, but for Black Friday Amazon are selling it for £492.15 – and some sellers on their marketplace have even better deals.
Sunlu PLA+ Filament
Building up a stock of filament in different colours can be an expensive business, but Black Friday is the perfect time to cut the cost a little. I buy a lot of Sunlu PLA+, mostly in black but I have some other colours too. It prints very nicely and I’ve never had problems with tangled spools or bubbles; it’s a good everyday filament at an attractive price.
This week the price is even more attractive; normally around £25, Amazon have a wide range of colours starting at £17.98. You could also pick up three spools of generic black PLA for £33.99.
Plastic Finishing Tool
If you don’t have a soldering iron, this little gadget could be just what you need for smoothing off rough bits of your print or tacking printed objects together. The packet says “Laser” on it, but it’s just a heated tool – quite a handy one, though. And for Black Friday it only costs £7.04.
Creality Upgrade Kit
Fancy tweaking your Ender 3 or other Creality printer? This kit has a collection of small but useful upgrades that will make it easier to use and improve print quality. There’s a new high-quality Capricorn Bowden tube, metal levelling wheels and stronger bed springs. The pack also contains five spare 0.4mm nozzles, new fittings to hold the Bowden tube and a tube-cutting tool to make sure you get the ends nice and square. Normally £20.99, it’s reduced to £17.84 this week.
Black Friday 3D printing accessory deals are changing fast – a couple of items I’d planned to include here are no longer on offer, while quite a few more have been added. That makes it worth poking around online over the next couple of days just to see what other bargains you can find. If you come across any good deals, let us know in the comments!
